About Smorgasbord - Variety is the Spice of Life.

My name is Sally Cronin and I am doing what I love.. Writing. Books, short stories, Haiku and blog posts. My previous jobs are only relevant in as much as they have gifted me with a wonderful filing cabinet of memories and experiences which are very useful when putting pen to paper. I move between non-fiction health books and posts and fairy stories, romance and humour. I love variety which is why I called my blog Smorgasbord Invitation and you will find a wide range of subjects. You can find the whole story here. Find out more at

  1. A weak bladder wall means cystitis is a frequent visitor but I have gone two years with none. Complascent I had become and woke from a nap on the sofa last night to mine enemy visiting with vengeance. I can keep this at bay with continuous self checks. Plenty of fluid, careful excersise, not too much acid not too tight clothing. For the last week I have changed things to try and boost my weight loss which has plateaued. A new (to me) upright waist ab crunch held for 20 secs repeated four times once an hour was probably an irritant, I usually have a pint of lemon water blood heat first thing and have for years… i was told of the prefered sip method which is supposed to be better at hydrating you; I have been doing that and not getting enough i suspect, and held my bladder for probably an hour because i took someone shopping and she wasn’t finished … Anyway all together it culminated in the revisit. Back to my regime I think if it isn’t broken don’t fix it comes to mind. I started with my water with bicarb to balance the ph and a good talking to!
