I really like your idea of presenting specific questions to create a dialogue between you and the reader instead of merely pleading for a review. I also think that Amazon could encourage more reviews- they created the review “monster “. For example- one can buy a kindle that shows special offers. Amazon could show a reminder to leave a review. Or we could earn a “coupon” for every 10 reviews we complete.
Exactly Jena.. instead many reviews that were quite legitimate have been removed by the ‘review police’ which is why these days I am sourcing more reviews from goodreads for authors than I did before. hugs x
Wow Sally what a great idea to include notes on how to help people leave reviews on their books. It is something all of us authors should add to the backs of our novels. Thank you!
