About Smorgasbord - Variety is the Spice of Life.

My name is Sally Cronin and I am doing what I love.. Writing. Books, short stories, Haiku and blog posts. My previous jobs are only relevant in as much as they have gifted me with a wonderful filing cabinet of memories and experiences which are very useful when putting pen to paper. I move between non-fiction health books and posts and fairy stories, romance and humour. I love variety which is why I called my blog Smorgasbord Invitation and you will find a wide range of subjects. You can find the whole story here. Find out more at

  1. I highly recommend getting a goat, really you need two because they get lonely. We have 2 goats a nigerian dwarf goat and an african pygmy goat. They are freaking amazing and loving and an endless source of entertainment! By the way growing up with my Dad’s family who are Danish we often enjoyed a great smorg! The name is what drew me to your blog!

  2. The little “what-what” goat trying to talk is adorable. And the little black&white wiggly tail is so precious. And the goat tree is incredible! You would need two, though. They fret and become despondent without another of their kind. You need more acreage, Sally 🙂 ❤
