Smorgasbord Posts from Your Archives – The Years – Best Friends and Poetry by D.G. Kaye

I am sure that like Debby Gies, you have a friend who you have known for many years, and who you consider to be your best friend. The one who you shared confidences with, challenges and the ups and downs of life.

Perhaps you would like to mention your best friend in the comments and a little bit about them.

Debby celebrates her friendship with some poetry……

The Years – Best Friends by D.G. Kaye

Best friends

Where did twenty-five go? We’d ask one another as we reminisced about our younger selves.

Me and San

Me and Zan aged 21

Good times, fearless and carefree,
When every day was filled with a new possibility.

About Smorgasbord - Variety is the Spice of Life.

My name is Sally Cronin and I am doing what I love.. Writing. Books, short stories, Haiku and blog posts. My previous jobs are only relevant in as much as they have gifted me with a wonderful filing cabinet of memories and experiences which are very useful when putting pen to paper. I move between non-fiction health books and posts and fairy stories, romance and humour. I love variety which is why I called my blog Smorgasbord Invitation and you will find a wide range of subjects. You can find the whole story here. 1. My best friend Anna is an amazing, warm, supporting family and friends person. We met over 16 years ago on first day in high school and we become friends straight away. Today, even though we are leaving in totally different places, we still very close with each other. She is my family. We share our successes, beautiful moments, we support each other also when bad things happen to us or family. I love her very much! 😊 Thanks for your post! All the best!
