Smorgasbord Afternoon Video – Animals at Play – #Collies -They know how to have fun.

I love collies of all kinds and my next four-legged family member will be a black and white border collie.. should keep me on my toes! Anyway this is one of my personal favourite videos and for those who have not seen before prepare to be enchanted.

About Smorgasbord - Variety is the Spice of Life.

My name is Sally Cronin and I am doing what I love.. Writing. Books, short stories, Haiku and blog posts. My previous jobs are only relevant in as much as they have gifted me with a wonderful filing cabinet of memories and experiences which are very useful when putting pen to paper. I move between non-fiction health books and posts and fairy stories, romance and humour. I love variety which is why I called my blog Smorgasbord Invitation and you will find a wide range of subjects. You can find the whole story here. Find out more at

  1. They are extraordinarily focused! Looks like Thich Nhat Han leading a mindfulness meditation walk… What terrific communication and cooperation between these dog beings and the (off screen) human beings who made this video!

  3. I have two such beasts (as seen in the post link below) and to me think the dog at the start is watching for a ball or Frisbee as are the rest but that little one at the back giving the full eye is dynamite. He’s not interested in the ball he’s watching for the dog and waiting for him to make a move.

When the others get their reward of at thrown toy you see him go in panic circles “Oooh where’d he go where’d he go???!!!” having lost sight of that dog he’d have died before taking his eye off 😀
