I realised that I had not got involved in any tagging matches recently when one popped up on Twitter – I must be a #bookworm because….. I was tagged by Rosie Amber and before I knew it, I had found a whole bunch of great new author contacts. And I had a lot of fun… I happened to stop by Georgia Rose Blue Sky Tag and thought that also looked like fun. Georgia left the tagging open so I am going to insert myself into the game.
As with any fun thing there are a few rules to make sure the game is passed on smoothly but these are easy to remember as they all revolve around the number 11.
11 tags, 11 answers, 11 questions
The comments in brackets are entirely my own and you have no need to copy them when you tag someone else!
Use the Blue Sky banner (that Rachael Ritchey designed).
It is sort of polite to mention the person who tagged you (even if you are busy and have not time for fun)
You need to answer the 11 questions set by your tagger (even though you wonder where they dredged them up from)
You will need to make up 11 original and interesting or funny questions for those you tag.
You need to tag 11 people (I know you are busy but this might lead to bigger things, like a tag with 25 questions!) (And it does let your friends know that you are thinking of them)
Here are the questions that were compiled by Georgia Rose
1.If you had to change your name, what would you change it too?
I am a big girl, and know that certain names would not suit me, as they would infer a delicacy upon me that I could not live up to. Such as Jasmine, Ophelia, Rose, Persephone etc. I think I might possibly get away with Penelope or Penny for short, or perhaps Geraldine or Gerri… Giacinta (see question 3….)
2. What was your favourite childhood injury?
When I was 11 I discovered boys, and that did not mix well with riding my bike. On one occasion I was ogling a lad walking on the pavement, and completely missed the fact there was a mound of gravel on the road. It was up and over, and a very undignified landing with my skirt over my head. I also had a graze on my knee (I still have the scar today) and the gallant lad rushed over and used his hankie to stem the flood. I never saw him again, but I kept that hankie for ages and 55 years later I still remember him!
3. Given the choice would you be a Bond girl, a Bond villain or James Bond himself?
Oh go on then… I want to be a Bond Girl, slinky clothes, fast cars, luxury yacht, my own island and blessed with the ability to eat whatever I want and still look like a goddess. I have found a place where you can find out your Bond Girl Name, and mine came out as Giacinta Onatopp which means I have had to amend my answer to question 2… if you would like to find out your Bond Girl Name
4. If you were to write a book about yourself, what would you call it?
A Voyage of Discovery and Laughter
5. Which character from any book do you most relate to? (and do tell me why!)
Jo March of Little Women – I read the book for the first time when I was about twelve and immediately connected with her tomboy attitude, love of books and apples and her determination to be something other than what was expected of her at that time. I followed a different path and I think Jo would have been proud of me.
6. If you could eliminate one thing from your daily schedule, what would it be?
To be honest there is not much in my daily schedule that I dislike that much, but I have over the years managed to limit certain tasks to the minimum…. such as ironing, washing up and hoovering….. thank goodness for a liberated husband!
7. Pilates, or Pie and Lattes?
Pie and Lattes
8. Sunsets or sunrises?
Sunrises on the proviso they are accompanied by a margarita!
9. India or Iceland?
Iceland as I have lived in India and would love to try somewhere new and so different.
10. Cocktail or cuppa?
Cocktails.
11. The Stones or The Beatles?
Definitely the Stones…..
Okay here are my Eleven questions should you accept this mission……
- What was the name of your first pet and what did you love most about them? (if you have not had a pet, substitute, boyfriend, girlfriend, or film star!)
- If you could meet anyone from history, who would you meet and why?
- What are the most common misconception people have about you?
- If you could buy any car in the world what would it be and why?
- Do you have a hobby your friends don’t know about?
- What was the last movie you saw at the cinema?
- Describe your perfect day?
- Summer or winter?
- Looks or Personality?
- City or countryside?
- Action or comedy?
Now here comes the bit where I ruin your day and tag you…. but trust that I will not be offended if you are too busy. I quite understand and will only be too delighted if you can spare the time to play..
For those who are not tagged.. .if you click the link you will be taken to one of the recent posts by these talented writers.
And if you feel that I have unfairly left you out of this tag… go for it…

Well, thank you, Sally, for the tag. I’m certain I can answer those questions and come up with eleven victims, I mean… lovely bloggers. Love your answers, but margaritas at sunrise? Ha ha. And my bond name was Giacinta too! Honestly, maybe we’re all Giancinta. Lol.

Thanks Diana.. and lovely to meet another Giacinta.. which Bond would you like.. personally I would be happy with Sean Connery in his prime! hugs xxx

Oh yes. I’m with you all the way on that choice, Giacinta. I’m a big fan of Connery. I used his slightly older version as a model for a character in one of my books. – Giacinta. 😀

Oh, Sally, who would forget such a memorable childhood incident? I would have kept the hankie also. I bet your scar brings you a little grin also. I remember those boy-girl days at that age, but luckily, no physical injury. I’ve seen all the Bond movies more than 3 times. Being a Bond Girl was not under my radar because I am 5’1″… Pie and Latta sound good to me… I would say, Iceland, but my husband’s family is planning a trip to India because his grandfather was in the British army stationed in India. They want to trace their roots.:-)
I haven’t played for a long time and Friday is 6 1/2 hours away in southern California.
Thank you, Sally, for tagging. ❤ 🙂

Thanks for sharing that Miriam and I am sure your trip to India will be wonderful.. you might not find many pies or lattes there and on screen 5′ 1″ is perfectly proportioned for the camera.. look at Tom Cruise who is only 5′ 7″ and most leading men in Hollywood were rarely any taller back in the hey day.. Miriam is such a pretty name that I think you could use that easily.. hugs ♥

Yes, you’re right, Sally. I can add Al Pacino, Bing Crosby, and so on… It’s the magic of the camera or the height didn’t matter then. ❤

Lovedddddddddddd this! Sal, you have more stories than the bible LOL. Giacinta – not quite dainty, lol. You and I could play nicely on vacays, you and your sunrises, me with my sunsets, and both of us with margaritas! 🙂 🙂 ❤ xx
Of course I'm going to play! It may take me a week but I'm in! ❤

Great Debby and glad you enjoyed. Giacinta does rather roll of the tongue and you are right.. not very dainty but I will work on it. Yes we would be drinking from sunrise to sunset… 😆 xxx♥

Nice to see this tag making the rounds! 😀 Great answers. Jo March is one of my all-time favorite characters. Love her. And I’m off to find my Bond Girl name. Though I’d prefer to be a Bond Villain, I think. 😉

Hmm. 🤔 Says I’m a ‘Slinky blonde female spy’ but…no name. Or that is my name. Sure. Why not? 😂

It is a little like that Ronson Seal advert.. Does what it says on the tin! and you can always shorten it to Slinky Sarah….xxx

Thanks Sarah.. I saw your name over at Georgia’s and having seen what you Bond Girl name was, I would be fascinated to find out what your Villain name would be. xx
