#TalesfromtheIrishGarden – Queen Filigree and Prince Ronan in fondant

Not only did Robbie Cheadle write a fantastic review for Tales from the Irish Garden https://robbiesinspiration.wordpress.com/2018/10/27/bookreview-tales-from-the-irish-garden-by-sally-cronin/ but she has created two delightful fondant figures for Queen Filigree and Prince Ronan to celebrate my five years of blogging.. They are beautiful and I am so touched by her kindness. Please head over and see them both.. Prince Ronan is a stunner too.

Sally Cronin’s lovely blog, Smorgasbord, is five years old. You can find her blog here: https://smorgasbordinvitation.wordpress.com/.

Sally is a very generous blogger who spends countless hours promoting her fellow writers and bloggers. She hosts reviewers, new book launches, Christmas book lineups, Halloween parties and also reviews books. She also writes informative posts about diet and health and has other bloggers and writers contribute fun posts about travel (D.G. Kaye – https://dgkayewriter.com/), cooking and recipes (Carol Taylor – https://blondieaka.wordpress.com/ ) and mythology, history and gardening (Paul Andruss – http://www.paul-andruss.com/).

I thought I would celebrate the birthday with my unique fondant creations. I created Queen Filigree and Prince Ronan from Sally’s new book Tales from the Irish Garden. Of course, they are my personal visions of what these two characters look like. Sally has lovely illustrations in her book by artist, Donata Zawadzka.

Here they are. First up is Queen Filigree:

Please head over to see them together…

About Smorgasbord - Variety is the Spice of Life.

My name is Sally Cronin and I am doing what I love.. Writing. Books, short stories, Haiku and blog posts. My previous jobs are only relevant in as much as they have gifted me with a wonderful filing cabinet of memories and experiences which are very useful when putting pen to paper. I move between non-fiction health books and posts and fairy stories, romance and humour. I love variety which is why I called my blog Smorgasbord Invitation and you will find a wide range of subjects. You can find the whole story here.
