Numerology may seem like an abstract concept to some but basically, it is the belief that everything can be converted to a number and that numbers have meaning that help us understand our world better. This dates back, to the sixth century B.C. when philosopher and mathematician Pythagoras, introduced this information through his teachings.

Welcome to February! We’ve just begun this new year and we meet here in the shortest of months. Most of us have long forgotten the big changes we wanted to make, and of you are on my side of the equator, you are staring dull, dreary winter, smack in the face! Life can seem to be tugging at our emotions right now, which is one of the characteristics of the number 2. February, being the second month of the year, was born to rock that energy. And, for being the shortest month of the year, can seem to d-r-a-g us through the days and weeks.

Gee, Annette, this sounds like FUN (not).

This column is designed to enlighten us to the Universal Energy of each month, so while February has a birth energy of 2, we need to take into consideration the energy of the current year, 2019. Here is where people are questioning my arriving at 2019 having an energy of 3.

All our numbers are being added together, until we come up with a number between 1 & 9. Which means, we add 2 + 0 + 1 + 9 to reach 12. Then we add the 1 + the 2 to get a 3.

Adding the 3 (the Universal Energy of the year 2019) to the 2 (birth energy) of February, we end up with a 5 as February’s Universal Energy for this year.

As the 2 of February is connected to our emotional balance, the 5 of February adds the delightfully unpredictability of magic to the equation! That’s right, if you’ve ever watched a magic trick live and in person, you were undoubtedly caught up in each step while anticipating the final outcome. It may have seemed impossible. You might have gasped in surprise when you thought everything was going to end poorly. After all, sawing that lady in half means she could be a tad cranky if they can’t put her back together. But if you stay the course, you experience the thrill of realizing it was all an illusion. It’s a miracle! A miracle I tell you!

That’s right, the number 5 holds an energy of magic and miracles!

Now, how does this personally pertain to you? You need to know YOUR PERSONAL YEAR energy. Add the numbers of your birth month and birth day together, then add that number to the 3 of 2019 and reduce the number to the smallest number between 1 and 9, this will give you your current personal year number. Knowing the energy of the numbers in your life, provides guidance.
