That time of the week when we get our syllables in line in participation of Colleen’s Tuesday Poetry Challenge 124
This week the synonyms required are for the prompt words ‘Game and Trouble’. I have chosen ‘Eager and Hassle‘ for my light-hearted Etheree on the Joys of Spring.
The Joys of Spring
Lambs
gambol
in the field
eager to play
with their flock siblings
as their mothers look on
munching on newly grown grass
content that their feisty newborns
full of their milk and the joys of spring
will not be back to hassle them for hours.

You know I miss seeing the sheep that were everywhere when I lived in the UK (OMG almost 40 years ago…) I’m ready for spring and can’t wait. Your Etheree has gotten me in the mood. ❤

Sally, this is lovely. I can picture the mamas basking in the sun, chatting away, without the little ones under foot! ❤
