Willow with a delightful poem about a new acquisition for Ruby their lovely dog… will make you smile this morning.
Ruby sleeping happily
She has a pressie from us you see.
It’s a new washing machine
Too keep her towels and blankets clean.
A funny gift for a beloved dog?
Strange subject for my blog?
I can’t put her things in our machine
Our clothes would no longer be clean.
They would all be covered by blond hair
On my best dress, no that’s not fair.
Her old machine finally broke
So she has a new one, bespoke.
So now Ruby will smell rosey
And sleep on clean bed, with blankets and towels clean and cosy.
We have always had a separate washing machine for Ruby as she moults so much our machine in the kitchen would not last long.
Last week the old machine we keep in the garage for her stuff gave up the ghost. Now Ruby has a newer washing machine than us? How does that work…
