As the world turns, you will all be at different stages in your Christmas celebrations. The wonder of our global community is that at any time of day you can reach out and touch someone and let them know you are there.
I wanted to not just wish you a Merry Christmas but take this opportunity to say thank you for all the support that you have given me over the last year (and longer). It is a gift for every day not just at this time of year and is treasured.
We are not being very traditional today as we will be enjoying one of our favourite meals.. Rib-Eye steak fajitas, with margaritas and some strawberry shortcake ice-cream.
I shall speak to my two sisters via Skype at mid-day and then at 4pm we will raise a toast to absent friends and those who are no longer with us.
I have left you a few stories (starting later today) and book updates should you get bored at any time!!! And back to abnormal here on the blog from next week.
Have an amazing Christmas Day and look forward to seeing you around the usual haunts over the holidays as I pop in and out.
And just in case you need something to get you warm and fuzzy… this should do the trick courtesy of The Dodo
See you soon…Sally.

Wishing you a very Merry Christmas, Sally. I like the sound of your meal. I get a bit tired of our standard fare of cold meats and salads but it is really to hot for cooked meals at Christmas time.

Merry Christmas to you too Robbie and if the sun was shining and it was warm it would be a day at the beach with a tray of peaches and sandwiches like we did when we lived in Cape Town.. I think my parents had a bottle of wine in the cooler too… I am sure that the important element of family is all the seasoning needed..hugsx
