And a joke from my archives…

Some of life’s observations

“I am” is reportedly the shortest sentence in the English language. Could it be that “I do” is the longest sentence?

If Fed Ex and UPS were to merge, would they call it Fed UP?

What hair colour do they put on the driver’s licenses of bald men?

Why do they put pictures of criminals up in the Post Office? What are we supposed to do, write to them? Why don’t they just put their pictures on the postage stamps so the mailmen can look for them while they deliver the mail?

Whatever happened to Preparations A through G?

I was thinking about how people seem to read the Bible a whole lot more as they get older; then it dawned on me … they’re cramming for their final exam.

Thank you for joining us today and as always we hope you are leaving with a smile on your face….Debby and Sally.

  1. Thanks to you, Sally, and to Debby for the morning laughs. The one about the hair color for bald men reminded me of my 2 1/2-year-old granddaughter. Last week she pointed out that my hair is gray. So we looked at a family photo and she correctly said what color hair each family member has until she came to the photo of my oldest son. She stopped and thought for a moment and then said, “I don’t know. He don’t got no hair!”
