This week in Colleen Chesebro Tanka Tuesday Poetry No 172 it is ‘Poet’s Choice’ and despite the current situation, nature is not under lock down and free and it is business as usual.  I have written a Butterfly Cinquain – Springtime.

Butterfly Cinquain – Springtime

Springtime
and buds unfurl
into vibrant colours.
The nests are full and sparrows sing
their joy.
Nature’s young frolic in the sun
under blossom topped trees
celebrating
new life.
