Smorgasbord Cafe and Bookstore – New Book on the Shelves – #Childrens Franky the Fearless Flamingo: A ‘Using Your Strength for Good’ Hero Story (Franky the Flamingo Book 4) by Wanda Luthman

Award winning children’s author Wanda Luthman has just released a new book Franky the Fearless Flamingo: A ‘Using Your Strength for Good’ Hero Story (Franky the Flamingo Book 4)

About the book

Franky is back with his 4th book in the Franky the Flamingo series (although each is a standalone book so you don’t have to have read previous books to understand this one).

Franky the Fearless Flamingo rescues the helpless wherever he does go.

In this tale of strength and compassion, a mean crab owes a debt as his ration.
The little sea turtle that he hurt, he later helps with kindess, his new passion.

The crab learned to use his strength for good to help someone in need, just because he could.

Franky the Fearless Flamingo is a hero for helping a mean crab learn the important lesson of empathy.

Gisela Hausmann 5.0 out of 5 stars  Franky is back  Reviewed in the United States on January 11, 2020

I probably like “Franky the Flamingo” so much because I used to live in Florida for 16 yrs and I still miss those days. In this book Franky ventures out and tries to make bird friends wherever he goes. Of course, they ( storks, cranes, geese, ducks, finches, sparrows, etc) are all different but they share a common interest for playing. One day, Franky encounters an angry bird who said hurtful things to a tiny bird. Franky knows what to do and helps.

Of course, this is a story that presents the topic of bullying in a new “bird light.” My little grandson who is not in school yet is still too young to know anything about bullying but he enjoyed the descriptions of the different birds and what they do.

Highly recommend to help younger readers learn about bird as well as use the story as a conversation starter to talk about bullying.

  2. Looking like very funny children books. Another one for my parents recommendations list. Will try to make another magazine with all now collected children books. Think during summer vacancy there could be also enough time for our parents giving their kids the possibility of the English language. Michael
