Haiku Sequence – Tracks

Into the distance
the one way track transports us
to our destiny.

There is no way back
once you board the train to fate
destination set.

How long our journey
in life may be preordained
but not how we live.

There will be places
to linger and find great joy
and people to love

Even dark tunnels
we might have to travel through
end with a bright light.

At the last station
as you alight from the train
do so with a smile.

  3. The journey of life! I loved you haiku sequence, Sally. I really appreciated this stanza:

    How long our journey
    in life may be preordained
    but not how we live.

This is so true. We have to make each moment count. ❤
