About the book

The adventures of Sir Chocolate and Lady Sweet in poetry form. Michael came up with the idea of Sir Chocolate and Lady Sweet and many of the characters contained in the books, when he was ten years old. His ideas were such fun that Robbie decided to turn them into little verse books for his entertainment. The book contains recipes for children to make with adult assistance.

This is just adorable. I’ve read several books by this author. When I saw “strawberries” I thought of my niece, who likes strawberries “berry” much. I got it for her and we got to read it together over Zoom. She loved it.

Dana 5.0 out of 5 stars For children who afraid of changes  Reviewed in the United States on September 11, 2020

This lovely story is about Wilbur the tractor and his friend Jim. For a long time, they are working together in the fields, but it’s time to change and Wilbur is afraid from what might be. Jim promise Wilbur that they will stay friend and that he will meet a new friend in is new home, like Hattie the Chicken. I loved the hand-drawn colored pictures. Good book for children who afraid of changes.

Adam Searle 5.0 out of 5 stars A great adventure into space  Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 6 October 2020

I enjoyed reading this book and following Lamby’s adventure into space. Lamby, who is the authors Jude’s mascot, is very appealing and the alien who guest-appears in the book will be a hit with the children too. This is a easy story for children learning to read and will appeal greatly.

  1. Reblogged this on Robbie's inspiration and commented:
Thank you, Sally Cronin, for sharing this lovely review of Sir Chocolate and the strawberry cream berries story and cookbook. I can’t believe Michael was only 7 years old when we wrote this together. There is another lovely children’s book featured too so do pop in and have a read.
