They are magnificent animals.. one of the most graceful.. would love to have learned to ride when I was younger.. now worried I might give one a sway back…..hugsx
Aren’t they gorgeous – we had three horses (not all at the same time) when my daughter was competing in hunter/jumper. I became VERY allergic to horse dander!
They are horrendously expensive to keep, though – sort of like a boat. But more fragile. I petted a horse yesterday and did not sneeze, so maybe it was just Cameron’s last horse?
Yes, I looked at costs when we had a couple of acres last time we lived in Ireland and it was about 10k a year then with farrier fees, vets visits for teeth and the usual.. plus feed.. Still if we are not going on holiday, out to eat, road trips and you are in rotating lockdown it is covered lol…hugsx

I wouldn’t want to ride one now but love to have a field of them to look at and interact with.. so expensive to keep them however…x
