Nothing like a dogs breath in the morning to wake you up…….lol

  1. Ours knew not to disturb us if we were asleep, but sometimes they’d sit by the bed watching us closely, noses inches away, and if you opened an eye the game was over and the excitement began.

  2. Excellent footage.
    But oh boy, do I ever know that feeling. Our Spanish Mastin developed arthritis last year and we’d already conceded to letting her stay inside at night when temperatures dropped, but a few weeks ago she decided she wanted to sleep in our bedroom, barged her way in and settled down nicely on the floor at the foot of the bed.
    But at six in the morning (a normally unfamiliar hour for me) I got this ‘feeling’ and opened my eyes to see her shiny black nose two inches away from mine.* It was a wonder I didn’t scream out. I’ve managed to dissuade her from doing that on a regular basis, but if she thinks I’m sleeping in too long she shoves her head under the duvet and nudges my arm.
    Dogs! I love ’em.

    * NO, I don’t have a shiny black nose, just a normal(ish) one. 😀
