A small selection of posts I have enjoyed in the last few days and I hope you will head over to enjoy in full.. thanks Sally.
The first post is from our resident food expert Carol Taylor who takes some chillis through their paces..
Jammin’ with chillies…
This is a definite must-do! Chilli Jam no less…and as chillies are plentiful at the moment it’s a must make and so delicious… Who else dares? Do you??? Of course, charring the vegetables first adds extra smoky flavour to this sweet and spicy spread.
Try it in sandwiches, as a burger relish, with grilled meats or on a cheese board.

The next post is from Hugh Roberts who is an advocate for bloggers and shares a great many tips and wisdom on how to get the most from the experience. We all have our own ways of posting but since none of us are blogging to listen to our own voices… finding ways to bring new readers and retain current visitors to our posts is always important. Hugh has some important tips to share on the subject.
1. Eye-Catching Post Titles
I’ve said it before, and I’m repeating it again, but the title of a blog post is the first thing readers and visitors see before deciding wether to read your post or not.
Make your blog post titles count! I always look at the title of a blog post first before deciding whether to read it or not.
The title of the post has to really grab my attention and make me want to click the link to open it. If it has no appeal, then I move on. Take, for example, these two titles –

And to end today some funnies courtesy of The Story Reading Ape and his wacky family.. including his aunt Maxine who lives in Crabby Road.. (don’t buy a house in the neighbourhood!)

Thanks for dropping in today and I hope you will head over to read these posts in full.. thanks Sally.

Thanks, Colleen. They’re as important as the content of a post, so you got to have excellent blog post titles to get people to click the ‘read more’ link.

Absolutely, Hugh. The title makes all the difference. How are you guys? I was so bummed to learn that all the British folks were on the 9am zoom last week! I ended up at 2 pm because of my Weight Watchers meeting at 9:00. ❤️

So sorry to have missed you on the call, Colleen. Hopefully, another one will be arranged sometime. I may even try and arrange something. So, watch this space. 😀
