A small selection of posts I have enjoyed in the last few days.. I hope you will head over to read in full. Thanks Sally.
The first post is from Stevie Turner and is part of the Open Book Blog Hop this week.. Two famous names Stevie would like to write about…
What historical/public figure would you most like to learn more about? Would you ever write about them?
The person I’d really like to learn more about is the very private Joan Armatrading, who never gives interviews. She says “It’s all about the music, and nobody needs to know anything about me“. However, she’s wrong, and I’m sure there are many others out there apart from me who also love her music and would like to know more about her. So… if you ever read this, Joan, I’ll be happy to write a book about you but you need to grant me an interview first!

Donna Parker has created an amazing multi-author promotional post complete with her usual entertaining gifs.. You will find many of your favourite people mentioned including Debby Gies, Mary Smith, Teagan Geneviene, Erika Kind, Christy Birmingham, John Howell, David Prosser, Hugh Roberts, Robbie Cheadle, Bette Stevens, Gwen Plano, Geoff Le Pard, Ritu Bhathal, Vashti Quiroz- Vega and Liz Gauffreau.….
Let me tell you the story of how i met your author (maybe your most favourite ever author). Over 5 decades ago I learned to read. I realized then, I would never be alone again. With me always: friends, family, and unfailing boon companions.
I’ve never been able to answer questions like, “What’s your fav food?”, “Fav movie?”, “Fav TV show” and certainly not, “What’s your fav book?”. You know those, “If you could only take one type of food with you to a desert island” quizzes, I’d be an epic fail, wait, could it be a dessert island, I’d be amazing there! Sign me up!

Writer’s Tips and a Personal Note – #Amazon, #Canva, #Audible, #PDF Converter, and #Blogging Tips
Well, a day late, but I’m getting my Friday post up today on Saturday. My life is very crazy right now, so my posts throughout the coming weeks and month will be erratic. Besides the grieving journey I’m on now for my husband, I am also moving! Yes, that is a story in itself, but suffice it to say, I’m moving to a smaller condo in the same complex, and that involves cleaning out ‘our’ life and getting rid of so many things in order to final downsize. Besides the physical gruel of this mission, don’t get me started on the emotional gruel it takes to look at every single thing we’ve owned and shared together. But that will be a post for another day. In the meantime . . .
I’ve been curating and keeping some great help articles for writers and bloggers, and there are some goodies in this edition – new Kindle Vella for serial publishing, creating animated logos in Canva, #Audiblegate and more!
