Welcome to this week’s round up of Christmas celebrations on a new day for the post on Sunday’s
I hope that you had an amazing Christmas day and are now contemplating what to do with the leftovers. We had a traditional lunch this year which we haven’t done for a long time.. A turkey crown (not so many leftovers) Glazed Ham, roasted potatoes and parsnips, carrots and Brussel sprouts cooked and then thrown in with the roast potatoes for the last few minutes. Cranberry and bread sauce and an elasticated waistband…..
A quieter week coming up on the blog but some regular posts such at The Breakfast Show, news about the Smorgasbord Bookshelf beginning in the New Year, book reviews, New Year’s Eve Party and of course some funnies.
Enjoy the rest of the holidays and of course a huge thank you to William Price King, Debby Gies,Carol Taylor and Daniel Kemp for all their contributions this week… and to you for all your support.

You’re welcome, Sally. Yes, we did. I made lasagne, which is always better as leftovers, according to my husband. Lots of leftover fruit compote to freeze for later, too!
