Smorgasbord Blog Magazine – Weekly Round Up – 21st – 27th February 2022 – Hits 1984, Mel Torme, #Bulls #Houston, Reviews, Poetry, Podcast, Health and Humour

Welcome to the round up of posts you might have missed this week on Smorgasbord.

I don’t think anyone around the world will have missed this week’s headlines when Covid was eclipsed by the unfolding battle for the Ukraine. The courage and patriotism of the people and their president is astounding and they deserve all the support the rest of the world can provide.

It certainly makes the storms we have been facing over the last three weeks simply weather, and mother nature reminding us that we cannot contol everything in our world. But there is no malice, greed or hatred which is the dubious perogative of human nature.

Book Promotion.

Delighted to have had some lovely extracts for this new series beginnning in March and here is a reminder of how you can give your most recent book a plug by sharing a 500 word extract… All the details are in the post link below.. Look foward to hearing from you.

  2. Thanks for another wonderful week and having me part of it Sal. Yes, while people are squawking about gas and food prices, Ukrainians are fighting to survive. Maybe those ‘freedum’ fighters crying about masks and vaccines (that protect), should take their trucks to Ukraine and know what fighting for real freedom is. ❤

  3. Thanks for another super week, Sally, and with enough variety to take our minds away from the bad news so close by. Also, thanks for making me a part of it. Have a great new week. Hugs

  5. I really appreciated your tribute to the people of Ukraine. It’s unconscionable in this day and age that a country should declare war on its neighbour purely for gain – I understand that even the Russians themselves are unhappy with the situation. Here’s to a peaceful resolution before more innocent blood is shed.
On a happier note, like Olga I really appreciate your blog and its ability to take me to the good things in life. xx

  6. It’s been heartbreaking to see the invasion, but the Ukraine bravery is inspiring. Greed and power are an ugly side to humanity.

Thank you for another great week of posts, Sally. Hugs xo

  7. I’m still trying to blog for 30-60 minutes each day, but writing and reading are taking up the majority of my time these days. I always make time for your blog, though, Sally.
