That was so fun. The elephant started out so carefully and then got into the creative spirit for sure. Love the touch with the water. Lol. Great share, Sally.
How wonderful to see in person Miriam, such majestic animals and at least when painting they are not being overworked and are being treated well.. hugsx
It looks like they are smiling and fully understand their skills. Maybe we should also test the same with CEO’s of the big business or similar institutions. 😉 Thanks for sharing, Sally! Enjoy a good Saturday morning! I hope to be back in time! xx Michael
I would love to see for myself.. Miriam Hurdle has seen a group of them on her travels and at least as a tourist attraction they are treated much better than some and she said they genuinely seemed to be enjoying showing off their skills and producing recognisable paintings.. amazing..xx

This is fun, Sally! We watched the elephants paint in Bangkok. It’s amazing how intelligent the elephants are.

Exactly, Sally. The elephants that paint looked healthier than the other working elephants we saw in Bangkok. 😍

Hong was clearly enjoying him(her) self, which is the important point. And as abstract art goes, it’s pretty good!

I have seen this sort of thing on TV. Also apes painting. It just goes to show there is a lot more to animals than we often realise. x

I’m still trying to wrap my head around it. The elephant really looked like she knew what she was doing and enjoyed it immensely.
