Smorgasbord Blog Magazine – #Numerology with Annette Rochelle Aben

Well, we are ten months into this Numerology thing. Do you think you have it mastered? All you need is a little more information compliments of the only month that IS a master.

Welcome to the 11th month, November!

Grab a cuppa and let’s do this…

As we have learned all year long, in NUMEROLOGY, ALL numbers are added down to the smallest number between 1 and 9. Then the vibrations of those numbers are interpreted to provide the PERSONAL ENERGY and UNIVERSAL ENERGY of whom or whatever. For instance, 15 breaks down as 1 + 5 = 6.

Sharp left turn here…

Of course, this is an exception to the rule and that exception is a MASTER NUMBER.

MASTER NUMBERS have a unique personality that identifies them on sight. They are the duplicate numbers! 11, 22, 33, 44, 55, 66, 77, 88 and 99 which are all MASTER NUMBERS.

Here we are dealing with the 11 of November. And while we will reduce it to a 2 for the sake of determining the PERSONAL and UNIVERSAL ENERGIES, it is always written as 11/2.

That way we have our reduced number while remembering the additional power of a MASTER NUMBER.

Imagine having the birthday, 11/11…

So, 2019 is a 3 UNIVERSAL ENERGY and we take that energy of staying in the present moment, integration and stating focused and add it to NOVEMBER’S 11/2 and it looks like this. 2 + 3 = 5. What? Where does the 11 go? We will use it for adding bling to the interpretation but not for determining the actual PERSONAL or UNIVERSAL ENERGIES.

The 2, is a balancing act of PERSONAL ENERGY for November. A time of keeping our lives in the balance, especially where our emotions are concerned. Now, the 5 from adding the 2 to the current year’s PERSONAL ENERGY, gives us a UNIVERSAL ENERGY of change, magic, and miracles. There are times when trying to balance all the changing going on around us without breaking down emotionally can be challenging.

 Ah-ha! Enter the MASTER…

Now, we want the power of that 11 to take center stage. We do this by remembering we are spiritual beings having a physical experience and as such, we always have a power, higher than ourselves working with us side by side. We toss the stress our to the Universe and allow the guidance to light our path. Some say it’s more powerful to have two 1’s side by side. Others believe it’s a more enlightening time. You’ll have your own, unique experience, so enjoy it!

So, November is really a superhero…

Yes, yes, it is a superhero. People find strength they never knew they had and time they were sure didn’t exist. It is as though we have struggled through the shift from summer into autumn yet here is the comfort of November to that we can bring ourselves into balance in the highest of fashions.

Giving thanks…

To everyone who had read this monthly series. To everyone who has shared its contents. To Sally Cronin for offering me a platform. May November be a blessing for all.  Remember, direct your Numerology questions to me at innerchildart (at) yahoo (dot) com.

About Think Tanka

Throughout time, the poet has used words to convey feelings, share ideas and unite the reader with their vision. Think Tanka uses the traditional structure of Japanese lyric poetry to unite the reader to the vision of the poet. if you can “see” what she is trying to “say” in every grouping of 31 syllables, then she has done her job. Think Tanka is a book for those who appreciate poetry, those who enjoy short reads, people who like to smile and those who know what it is like to be lost in a world of imagination. Whether you are buying this book for yourself or someone else, you’ll want to make sure you get an extra copy so you’ll have one on hand to share.

One of the recent reviews for Think Tanka

At the beginning of this beautiful little book, the author writes, “Tanka means short song.” That describes this book completely. Not only is it in alphabetical order according to topic titles, but it provides a daily reference for inspiration, a thought for the day, or a chuckle. The author touches on every topic from the deepest spiritual aspect of “Quiet & Space,” to the frolicking “Dance Machine.” There is a large dose of magic sprinkled throughout this book of Tanka. There is homage to our beautiful panet, Mother Earth and even a nod to our traditions. If you are looking for a book to make your day sparkle, you will enjoy the amazing Tanka from Annette Rochelle Aben!

Smorgasbord Blog Magazine – The Weekly Round Up – First Class Jazz, Guests, Food,Books with a dash of Humour thrown in..

Welcome to the weekly round up with some of the posts you might have missed on Smorgasbord..

This week has been interesting with the tail end of Lorenzo and with two more storm fronts rolling in behind it. I almost got my wish for my own swimming pool right outside the front door but thankfully we had one sunny day in the week and another today to evaporate some of the moisture. I have decided that my arthritis in my knee is actually rust and am going to see if the DIY hack of using WD40 might help.

But I cannot complain as the tiny pansies that I planted along with the mini cyclamens are thriving despite wind and rain and they are clearly Irish born and bred.

The week’s continue to fly by and hard to believe it is October, until you go into the supermarket and see that Quality Street is back in tins, two for a tenner and frozen turkey’s are on special! They do draw the line at mentioning the ‘C’ word but any week now..

Anyway… here are the posts from the week and thanks to the contributors who give up their time and offer their expertise to us all.. and to you for your continued support.

This week William Price King shares the life and music of Bill Evans, American Jazz pianist and composer (1929 – 1980).

Getting yourself noticed locally – Media

Despite the fact that it is very difficult to get the attention of the mainstream media, I still believe that you should make every effort to get your book noticed.  If you have done everything right – well written, edited, formatted and produced either in print, E-book or both, then it deserves your best shot.

Smorgasbord Blog Magazine – Your Universal Energy for October with Annette Rochelle Aben.

October! Can you hardly believe that we have gotten to the final quarter of 2019 without killing anyone?

What do you mean, speak for yourself?

The whole basis of Numerology, is to use the numbers 1-9 to define the type of Personal Energy we are experiencing daily, weekly, monthly or yearly. So far, it’s been easy because our months have had numbers between 1 and 9. Now, we complete the calendar year with 3 months that we have to add numbers together to reach a number between 1 and 9. But it’s not quite that simple.

You knew I was going to throw a curve ball at this point, didn’t you!

We will begin where we are, with October. October, being the 10th month of the year, needs to be reduced by adding the 1 and the 0 together, which gives us a 1. Now, just because January lays claim to the number one legitimately, doesn’t mean we can assume that October’s 1 has the same definition. We shall also use the power of the 10 along with that of the 1, thereby giving us some special energy.

I always knew you were special.

A 10 carries the energy of TRANSFORMATION. And not just any old TRANSFORMATION but GRAND TRANSFORMATION. This translates to October being able to help us with things turning around more than any other month. Wee changes? Not this month! Expect the delightfully unexpected. Looking for a few minor adjustments to the home, wardrobe, personality or job? Tut, tut, tut! Behold the magnificent to manifest out of the seemingly insignificant.

Ooh, but what about the Universal Energy of October?

I am glad you asked. Here is where the number 1 comes into play (just like in January) and when we add that to the 3 of 2019, we arrive at a 4 as the Universal Energy of October. This number represents the physical world, stability and all tangible things in general. That being said, look forward to some pretty cool transformations in your physical world this month. For many of us, this will be exactly what the Doctor ordered. After months of things seeming to drag, watch for some spectacular closure!

No 3-D glasses required.

As always, you will want to make sure to discern your own Personal Energy, in order to maximize that which is already in place for any month. I can help you do that. Contact me at innerchildart (at) yahoo. (dot) com and let’s set you up proper for the rest of this year and all of next year. Never too early to get this party started.

Thank you to Sally Cronin for allowing me to be a part of her awesome blog magazine. It has been my extreme pleasure to share my Numerology knowledge with everyone and to receive that terrific feedback. Cheers!

Always delighted to have Annette over to give us some direction for the coming month.. I wish our weather forecasts were so accurate…

Smorgasbord Blog Magazine – Weekly Round UP – Goodreads marketing, Numerology, Music, Health, Humour and more Book and Blog FREE Promotions

Welcome to the weekly round up of posts you might have missed here on Smorgasbord.

I hope you have had a great week and certainly it has been fun and a little hectic around here. The weather was very autumnal and it seems that this next couple of days will be the last for quite some time for a bit of sunshine. We are thinking of all of you who are dealing with Dorian at the moment and hope that everyone is safe, whilst acknowledging that we might get wet in Ireland but never to the extremes that many of you have to contend with.

One of the tasks this week was to plan the autumn overhaul of the blog and put some new series in place to keep you entertained and informed. My intention is to focus the book promotions on the authors in the Cafe and Bookstore to increase their visibility on a more regular basis.

One of these is the new Sunday Interview series exclusively for authors in the Cafe and to kick it off and to show you how it is done… D.G. Kaye, Debby Gies will be here next Sunday September 8th with her interview. I am now booking interview at the end of October and into November, so if you have a new book coming out then you might like to take advantage of this additional promotion. Details are in this link, including on how to get your books on the shelves of the Cafe and Bookstore in the first place.

https://smorgasbordinvitation.wordpress.com/2019/08/18/sallys-cafe-and-bookstore-new-series-sunday-author-interview-coming-soon/

Your regular contributors will be with us through the rest of the year – D.G. Kaye is here with the Travel Column tomorrow with another Caribbean gem, William Price King and the Music Column is back this coming Tuesday every two weeks, Carol Taylor will have more recipes with a touch of Thai spice every second Wednesday and Silvia Todesco will be wowing us with Italian Cookery once a month.

I have some guest writers lined up and author Robbie Cheadle whose popular children’s series Sir Chocolate story and cookbook, is contributing a five part series on the history of chocolate…beginning Monday September 9th.

I also want to continue to support new and established bloggers by bringing back the Blogger Daily at least two days a week if not more.

Help me promote you.

I would be grateful if you can help me out and hopefully give your books a boost by letting me know when you have a new release coming out. Some of you are doing pre-orders on your new books and I am happy to do the New Book on the Shelves promotions a week to 10 days in advance of publication date for readers to take advantage of any offers. I think that time scale adds a sense of urgency that encourages readers to buy whilst there is still an offer.

If you have a new review

There are 160 active authors in the Cafe at any one time and I do two review updates a week on Mondays and Fridays. It takes quite a lot of time to check each author and go into Amazon and Goodreads in search of a recent review and you would be helping me out if you give me a helping hand.

If you have a new review for a book that is on the shelves and are on Facebook, direct message me with the book title and I will do the rest, or you can leave in the comments on any of the Cafe and Bookstore posts. The posts receive on average 80 views and it does boost that if all the authors featured share on their own social media. It is free so all it takes is a little time and worth it if you make a sale or two.

Here is the link for the Cafe and Bookstore and you can check to see if you have your most recent review showing on your entry… if not let me know.

https://smorgasbordinvitation.wordpress.com/sallys-cafe-and-bookstore-free-author-promotion/

Another new series begins next week offering new bloggers whose blogs are 12 months or younger an opportunity to showcase their posts. Also a step by step guide to setting up your blog to be reader friendly. If you know any bloggers who are just setting out, then please pass this on to them.. thanks

https://smorgasbordinvitation.wordpress.com/2019/08/28/new-series-smorgasbord-posts-from-your-archives-new-blogger-promotionand-setting-up-your-blog-for-accessibility-readability-and-sharing/

The key element to all these promotion is you.. If you want to take advantage of my audience and blog and social media platforms, all you have to do is ask.

Now on with the posts from the last week.

As always a huge thank you to everyone who contributes, participates in the Archive post series and to you for dropping in and leaving a comment or sharing.. It is appreciated.

A took a look at the ‘Quoted’ following of one of the paid for promoting book sites when they approached me on LinkedIn a couple of weeks ago, claiming to put my book in front of 200,000 potential readers.. what I found was considerably less that across their website and social media.. in fact they fell over 198,000 short!

Smorgasbord Blog Magazine – #Numerology – Your Universal Energy for September with Annette Rochelle Aben.

Numerology may seem like an abstract concept to some but basically, it is the belief that everything can be converted to a number and that numbers have meaning that help us understand our world better. This dates back, to the sixth century B.C. when philosopher and mathematician Pythagoras, introduced this information through his teachings.

Deep and profound knowledge that will change your life if you let it

In this series, we are looking at the “energy” that can be attributed to Numerology of each month of the year. We are working with September in this installment. Not only the “energy” the month itself brings to the party, but what happens once we add the “energy” of the current year, 2019. The energy of the month itself we refer to as Personal Energy. Universal Energy is how we label the energy of the years. Once we add the Personal Energy of the month to the Universal Energy of the year, we arrive at the Universal Energy for that month. It really is all good!

We’re checking out good vibrations

September is the ninth month therefore it vibrates to the “energy” of the number 9. The 9 is here to help us let go, which means acting on decisions we may have been toying with all year long. This gives us a tremendous amount of freedom (if we allow it). Conclusions can show up in every aspect of our lives where we need to wrap things up in preparation of some fresh starts on the other side.

Every new beginning comes from another beginning’s end

So, the 9 is the Personal Energy of the month of September and to find out how that plays with the Universal Energy of the current year. We are going to add the 3 Universal Energy of 2019 to the 9 of September and we get (drum roll please) a 3!

Lucky dogs lucky dogs, we are lucky dogs

If you are paying attention here, we are sitting at the only month of this year, that shares the same Universal Energy as the year itself. Best way to maximize the 3 energy is to stay in the present moment as much as possible. Don’t pull from the past nor cast too much into the future, there is always time for those distractions. And yes, if you tend to get distracted easily, you may find yourself needing to be ever mindful of your own Personal Energy.

Need to know what your Personal Energy? Contact me at innerchildart (at) yahoo (dot) com and we can schedule a session. Why would you want to have this information? Because there is nothing like knowing how to go the flow, to maximize your potential in life!

Wrapping up the September Personal and Universal Energy, you are integrating your decisions with the Universe’s complete support. Clean it out! Clear it out! Free yourself of the cumbersome and allow the fresh air to blow through your world!

Thank you, to Sally Cronin for her generosity in allowing me to be a part of her monthly blog magazine. I am honored to share my knowledge, so feel free to ask questions, here in the comments. Also, feel free to share this post with those you believe may enjoy the information.

Smorgasbord Blog Magazine – Weekly Round UP – July 29th to August 4th 2019

Welcome to the weekly round up of posts that you might have missed on Smorgasbord.

Thanks for dropping in today, and I wanted to share some news on the current series. The posts from the archives has been a wonderful series with 70 authors trusting me to delve into their archives and select four posts to share with you.. That is 280 posts reaching new readers. The series is not over yet, but I have scheduled the dates for those remaining on the list through to the end of September which is another 48 posts for you to look forward to.  If you have not seen your posts yet, don’t worry if you asked to go on the list you will be featured.

However, a new series begins in October – This time with the choice of the four posts to be shared, down to you. I will do a formal post nearer to October, but in the meantime you might be browsing your archives to find the ones that you feel deserve another airing and a fresh audience. As of this week, that audience across the blog and social media is 45,000.

Please don’t send any links right now, but I will do a specific post in September giving you the guidelines.

The summer Sunday Interview Series – Human in Every Sense of the Word will be finished  next week and the following Sunday I will do a post about the next series which will be author interviews of those on the shelves of the Cafe and Bookstore.

I want to develop the promotions for the authors on the shelves and this is just one new series that will accomplish that so stay tuned.

Smorgasbord Blog Magazine – #Numerology – Your Universal Energy for August by Annette Rochelle Aben

Gotta love August! Well, may be not but it sounds so regal, doesn’t it? Guess it depends on the way one pronounces the word, August.

Okay, August rocks because being the eighth month of the year, it is packed with energy. Not only the energy of the season but the Numerology Energy of the 8 as well. 8 calls to us to go for the gold, reach for all the brass rings and keep looking to and for the next opportunity. As this is the Personal Energy of this month, it holds a lot of weight regardless of where you are with Universal Energy or Personal Energy.

Do you want to know how this works?

The Universal Energy we are dealing with is that of 2019. In Numerology, we add each number together and continue adding until we end up with a number between 1 and 9. So, 2019 adds up to a 3. This means that 2019’s energy is one of have fun, lighten up and live for the moment. This is what the Universe is doing for an entire year, and we will see a shift every day and each month. Our Personal Energy will be affected by this (you can always contact me to work with you on that) and in this column, we are dealing with the monthly shift as combined with the Universal Energy.

Watch, as my fingers never leave my hands…

Using the 8 energy of August, we are going to add that ever present 3 of the current year to arrive at a 2. Because 8 + 3 = 11, then we add the 11 together as 1 + 1 = 2! Basically, even though the Personal Energy of August is an 8, here in 2019, it packs the wallop of a 2 Universal Energy. Believe it or not, these two energies are not the best bedfellows.

Oh no, does this mean we are doomed?

Heck no! Yes, the energy of an 8 is action packed while the 2 lends a twist of balance to the picture. As we move forward with our ideas, hopes and dreams, the 2 calls us to slow down a bit to make sure we are emotionally balanced. The result can make it seem like things aren’t happening in a time frame most pleasing. Tut, tut, tut! Everything happens in the proper time frame. So, keep moving forward and make one of those goals, to keep yourself balanced within.

Come on, you can do this!

Enjoy your month of go-go-go with your actions and embrace the emotional balance that allows you to enjoy the entire experience.

Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, to Sally Cronin for the opportunity to share what I know about Numerology with you in this blog magazine. I certainly encourage you to FOLLOW this blog and meet the others who have been invited to contribute.

If you are curious as to how YOU would personally handle this energy, reach out, reach out and contact me! Because not only does energy change with every day, every month and every year but we are born with OUR OWN ENERGY. How the energies of the days, months and years specifically affects us individually, requires working with our personal numbers.

About Annette Rochelle Aben

Annette has an attitude of gratitude that she spreads around on a daily basis… Annette’s Blog and also by interviewing authors on radio Tell Me A Story with Annette Rochelle Aben | The Magic Happens (TMH)

A love of writing, began for Annette when she was but a small child. Of course, she gives all the credit to her parents, who read to her and her siblings from the moment they were born. Once in school, teachers took over the roles of main influencers, as they required the students to do a lot of (wait for it… wait for it…) WRITING!

Over the years, Annette has been blessed with having both hobbies and jobs that required her to write. This resulted in her winning the admiration of peers and industry professionals alike. Publication lead to awards, which provided even more encouragement and now, Annette Rochelle Aben is a #1 Best Selling Author!

These days, Annette writes poetry books, coaches others through the writing of their books, and edits articles for the digital magazine The Magic Happens.

Along the way, Annette found time to explore the worlds of Aroma Therapy, Astrology, Bach Flower Essences, Crystal Therapy, Feng Shui, Hypnotherapy, Music Therapy, Numerology, Reiki, and Tarot. Guided by her Angels as to what to study and with whom, Annette turned many of her studies into sideline businesses.

Annette Rochelle Aben is a poet with a huge heart who finds joy and pleasure in everything around her. She does a lovely job of conveying her enjoyment of life to readers through her poetry which provides uplifting messages, curious insights and, often, a jolly good laugh. All of the author’s poems have one thing in common, they all inspire happiness in the reader.

There are also some thoughts that quite shake your views of the world. Once such poem is Afraid & Grave:
Anxious to be liked
She just had to be herself
Which was not subtle
So, she numbered her feathers
And stepped out wearing glitter

One of the poems I thought was the prettiest in the collection was Autumn Leaves:
Walking through fall’s world
Appreciating colors
Crunching foliage
Gold sounds a lot like orange
Crimson feels warm like the sun

Lastly, I am sharing my overall favourite poem in this collection called simply Eyes & Shelter
Sweet sheltering heart
Defies logic’s gravity
Allow compassion to reign
By way of eternal love

Smorgasbord Blog Magazine – The Weekly Round Up – Music, Numerology, Vitamin C, Guest Posts and funnies.

Welcome to this week’s round up of post you might have missed on Smorgasbord.

It has been a good week for works in the garden with two days in a row of dry weather to do the final cement pour. This coincided with a visit from an old friend from Hampshire for a couple of nights, ending with a lovely dinner out last night.

There is still work to be done over the next few weeks but we will see about getting the house on the market earlier than anticipated whilst the paint is still fresh.

Today is the first of the Human in every Sense of the Word and my first guest is author Paulette Mahurin who shares a poignant and thought provoking memory that involved the senses…I hope you will join us.

William Price King is taking his usual summer break and will be spending time with his grandchildren in the mountains, hopefully a bit cooler than the rest of France and Europe is at the moment. Since this is the season of music festivals, I will be taking the opportunity to share some of the music William has posted over the last four years in a summer music festival.. In William’s last post before his break he shares the music of Arturo O’Farrill

Thank you for all the support this week and you lovely comments. Always love waking up in the morning and logging in to read and respond to them. Summer tends to be a little quieter as children go on holiday and vacations are taken, but always grateful to see you when you drop in.

Better get on with more posts from the week…..

Vitamin C is necessary for so many functions of the body that it is one of the key nutrients, along with Vitamin D that should be made a priority in food and sometimes in supplemental form. Vitamin C is not stored in the body, so if you do not eat regularly in your diet you can become deficient. Carol Taylor and I share the benefits, key food sources and recipes to ensure you are getting sufficient.

Smorgasbord Blog Magazine – #Numerology – Your Universal Energy for July by Annette Rochelle Aben

July! You snuck up on us now, didn’t you?

Okay. July is the 7th month of the year. Which means it has a Personal Numerology vibration of the number 7. This can be quite an intimidating vibration to bear. Sevens seem to create stress, because they are here to teach us to learn to delegate. To take the situation moment by moment and the task, bit by bit. 7 is also a very Spiritual number, which reminds us that when we can deal with stress via our spiritual nature, life becomes more peaceful.

Ah! Even stress can have a useful purpose, eh?

So, if July has a Personal Numerology of 7, what then, would be its Universal Numerology? Adding the 7 to the current year of 2019, we come up with the energy of a 1. This is the pervading energy to consider when looking this July in the eyes. Great! As both the number 1 and the number 7, have spirituality at their core!

Are you with me?

This feature is designed to provide insight into how to apply the wonderful world of Numerology in our lives using the months of the year as our lessons. Numerology says that every number has a vibrational energy and as such once we determine what the number for any given subject/object is, we can connect (or totally avoid if you are a big chicken) with said energy.

Don’t get your feathers ruffled.

Everything has a Personal Numerology vibration which explains what it brings to the current time frame. Because the current time frame also has a vibrational energy, we must combine the two for a more accurate picture. Hence, the adding of 2019 to the 7 of July to bring us into the present moment. defining the Universal Numerology for this month.

One for all and 1 for July!

If July feels like you have 7 puppies all wanting your attention at once. You can either lay down and let them run all over you or you can deal with them one at a time. Making peace with July inwardly, is the key to an easier month. Don’t take my word for it, give it your best shot and see what happens!

I’ve a feeling you got this!

My email is innerchildart (at) yahoo (dot) com.

Other books by Annette Rochelle Aben

My review for PhoKu

The expression ‘A picture is worth a thousand words’ was first used in the early 20th century in both the American press and in some advertising. It has been adapted a number of times including to ‘A picture paints a thousand words’ and both are correct.

As a writer I find that images are one of my most important prompts for short stories and within novels too. For me the skill of another writer is illustrated by the images they create with their written word. So marrying the two together is a concept that works beautifully.

This is the case with PhoKu by Annette Rochelle Aben. Most of the photographs in the book were taken in Nankin Lake in Hines Park, Westland, Michigan; a backdrop of outstanding scenery. Apart from the seasons that are captured so delightfully; I particularly enjoyed the wild birds liberally featured throughout the images. There is also an original piece of artwork in the final pages that fits in very well with the theme.

All the photographs are combined with the traditional 17 syllables of a Haiku which is an art form in itself. For someone who can be a bit wordy, I find creating a story in such a narrow format hugely challenging; Annette Rochelle Aben has this mastered.

My advice is to look at each image first for several moments before you read the Haiku and you will find that there is an enhancement to your original perspective.

Smorgasbord Blog Magazine – The Weekly Round Up.. Gems from your Archives, Universal Energy and All That Jazz

Welcome to the round up of posts here on Smorgasbord that you might have missed…

The week has been unremarkable here except for the fact that it is June and it has not stopped raining for a week, with at least another week to go… and the heating is still on twice a day. This has not helped the work in the back garden which requires a couple of days of dry weather to put down gravel and then cement…

I am officially banning all singing and dancing for the rest of the summer… see what happens when this dance academy puts on a show and perform ‘Singing in the Rain’  I rest my case!. Thanks Lucinda Armstrong

There is nothing more to say… except let’s get on with the week’s posts..thank you for dropping in and also a huge thanks to those who have contributed this week.
