About the book

The United States Constitution is the oldest federal constitution in existence. This document, along with the Bill of Rights, lays out the rights and responsibilities of its citizens. The Founding Fathers embraced the principles of the Enlightenment and a vision of liberty and justice for all. Trace their footsteps at Independence Hall and the Museum of the American Revolution.

Avid Reader 5.0 out of 5 stars A well rounded brief history for kids  Reviewed in the United States on October 13, 2020

Little Miss HISTORY Travels to INDEPENDENCE HALL & The Museum of the American Revolution by Barbara Ann Mojica, is a children’s illustrated history book of the early days of the United States Government. It covers the late 1700s Revolutionary War Era, with Miss History as the reader companion. A glossary of appropriate terms is included in the back. The pictures are easily recognized in many history books, covering many of the sites people go to see each and every year. And of course Miss History is along for the ride, describing the events as they unfold. Although a short work, this book is a nice tool for young readers who know little or nothing about that era in our history. It could also be a useful resource for struggling learners, or for those who want (or need) a quick refresher. Highly recommended.

Jemima Pett has a review for her latest release for reader of 10 years old upwards, Princelings Revolution (The Princelings of the East Book 10)

About the book

Jasmine’s birthday party ends in disaster. George seems to have lost a phial of highly dangerous liquid. And Fred, well, King Fred is battling politics, relatives and self-seeking dignitaries in his aim to give the people a better way of living.

And above all this there is a promise he wants to keep. A promise to an engaging chap he made when he was a mere stripling, when he persuaded that person to stop the Great Energy Drain.

What will happen if he fails?

The tenth and final book of the Princelings of the East series brings our heroes to the brink of disaster. The Realms will never be the same again – but how will Fred, George, Jasmine, Willoughby and all the others cope?

An intriguing fantasy mystery adventure for readers aged 10 and upwards.

Chris Graham 5.0 out of 5 stars A great finale to a great series.  Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 5 October 2020

I’ve thoroughly enjoyed every book of this series, but was apprehensive of reading this final book – because it is the FINAL book of the series.

However, I’m glad I did read it, with all its twists, turns and changes of fortunes for Fred, George and everyone else.

My only wish is, that more ‘sequels’ were forthcoming…

The final book today with a recent review is A Beechworth Bakery Bears (The Beechworth Bakery Bears 1) by Frank Prem

About the stories

The Beechworth Bakery Bears are having lots of fun.

They are rowing in regattas and taking tea in the pie warmer.

They are riding on bobsleds and slurping coffee.

They are keeping watch over the bakery and making sure that everyone has cake to eat.

They are waiting, and hoping, that someone might take them home, where perhaps scones will be made!

They are ready to tell you all their stories . . .

The goings-on of these delightful bears In this picture book may have been ‘as heard by Frank Prem’. But, these soft, cuddly bear buddies spin their own wonderful poetic verse. Frank has created a clever play on words not only for the Beechworth Bakery customers, but for anyone in love with bear antics.
