Author Daniel Kemp entertains us again with his funnies from: Danny Kemp .. Always a place to find funnies and jokes to cheer you up… plus some satirical political commentary on politicians at home and abroad.
For those of you who are placing Christmas lights/decorations in your garden, can you please avoid anything that has Red or Blue flashing lights together?
Every time we come around the corner in the car we think it’s the police and we have a panic attack.
We have to brake hard, I have to toss my gin out the window, hide the weed, fasten our seat belts, throw our phones on the floor, turn our radio down, and hide the gun under the seat, all while trying to drive.
It’s just too much drama, even for Christmas. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
Well that was a rubbish start to the day, incident number ED10065 from Police.
At least they didn’t take long to attend and took statements and all that. Will need to wait till forensics arrive now and they do their thing. Every window smashed
I don’t know how I didn’t hear it or wake up!!
There are too many bad people out there and so quick to take what isn’t theirs. It’s a bad day when this happens.
I mean every window done in not a single one left untouched and minimal disturbance. How to ruin someone’s morning,
I mean they never even left one window untouched – every goddam piece of chocolate taken from the advent calendar.
I keep asking my wife how much she paid for her botox injections.
Unfortunately, she remains all tight-lipped about it.
And for those in tier 2 in the UK and can only drink with a substantial meal!
My thanks to Danny for allowing me to raid his Facebook: Danny Kemp
About Daniel Kemp
Daniel Kemp, ex-London police officer, mini-cab business owner, pub tenant and licensed London taxi driver never planned to be a writer, but after his first novel –The Desolate Garden — was under a paid option to become a $30 million film for five years until distribution became an insurmountable problem for the production company what else could he do?
In May 2018 his book What Happened In Vienna, Jack? became a number one bestseller on four separate Amazon sites: America, UK, Canada, and Australia.
Although it’s true to say that he mainly concentrates on what he knows best; murders laced by the mystery involving spies, his diverse experience of life shows in the short stories he writes, namely: Why? A Complicated Love, and the intriguing story titled The Story That Had No Beginning.
He is the recipient of rave reviews from a prestigious Manhattan publication, been described as –the new Graham Green — by a managerial employee of Waterstones Books, for whom he did a countrywide tour of signing events, and he has appeared on ‘live’ television in the UK.

A recent review for The Widow’s Son
When you get a promotion, you would expect problems; hopefully, that can be solved with help from your cohorts. In Patrick West’s case, his predecessor, Geoffrey, is not upfront with the real situations at hand, which he must confront in his new position.
From the first banter between these two spymasters, Geoffrey’s lies lead Patrick into a maze of international intrigue that elitists have festered. Many characters are involved in a diabolical conspiracy.
Sorting it out is Patrick’s job as head of a British Joint Intelligence Committee. What he uncovers after finding out the truth, culminates into a near disaster.
This novel is the third in a trilogy, beginning with ‘What Happened in Vienna Jack?’ then, ‘Once I Was a Soldier,’ that I have read because of Mr. Kemp’s grasp of English (UK) language. The tit for tat of the main character’s lucid conversations kept me turning the pages to see what came next.
I love a conspiracy novel of fiction, particularly one that leads to an unpredictable ending. It would be best if you started by reading book one. However, this novel stands on its own.

It’s astonishing and very scary. It’s costing lives over here where people still think the virus is a hoax and masks don’t work.
