if I’m not mistaken, this is a Mynah bird. They are very smart and are the best mimics of the human voice in the avian world, outgoing and friendly. This one is a total hoot – or maybe pluck, pluck pluck.
Funny, I was flummoxed when I first saw Nugget – who is a real star. And then Mynah popped into my head. Sometimes I have no idea what is stored up there!

I loved the way he said “My name is Nugget and I’m a big, fat chicken”. Someone’s been playing fast and loose with his identity and clearly loves him.
