Welcome to the round up of posts you might have missed this week on Smorgasbord.
Finally it is spring….I managed to get my planting done in the front and the back garden and was able to sit and enjoy the first warmth after what has been a long, wet and windy winter. Even our cat’s bungalow got a make over and I had to laugh the other day when he arrived back to see his new garden and he inspected all the plants. Here is a small taste of how things are taking shape.
I have been so honoured to have been featured this week by two amazing authors on their blogs. It gives you such a boost to be on the receiving end of this kindness and has made my week extra special.
Joy Neal Kidney surprised me with a lovely feature and I do so appreciate her kindness and boost for Variety is the Spice of Life

You’re in cherry blossom time, as are we here on the other side of the pond and across North America.
It’s always good to freshen up the plantings, isn’t it? I’d love to see a photo of the resident cat!

another great and varied week for the ‘Smorgesbord Magazine’.
Love your planting and good you found some sunshine to do it.
As I’m away for a week i think my porch pots will have to wait until next week. Seeing your lovely blossom tree reminds me of today. I was selling books at the Bus Running day at the local bookshop. Brrr! It was cold!!! Infact at one moment the wind blew the blosson from the nearby tree and it was just like snow. (Cold and windy enough to be! So I’m off fo a hot bath to defrost.) but at least this year it was not raining (just a cold wind!)
Congratulations on your book reviews from Jacquie and Gwen. Well deserved.
